This year’s edition of the Leeds Metropolitan Business Review has now gone online. The Business Review is a 36-page magazine produced by third-year journalism undergraduates at Leeds Met as part of their Newsdays 1 module.
The page above is by Nabeelah Kathrada and Natalie Werner who managed to get an early look at Trinity Leeds, a multi-purpose shopping centre that will open in the city next spring. Elsewhere in the magazine you will find stories about the argument over Leeds’ nascent gay quarter; an in-depth look at the future of Kirkgate market; the impact of high speed rail and a special report on the prospect of economic growth in the region.
Two groups of students produced two 24-page magazines separately. Tanya Harris and Katherine Shaw then edited the best of both magazines into this 36-page bumper edition. You can view the whole 36 pages online via the Issuu app.
